Types of Abuse
The Power and Control Wheel describes violent and abusive conduct toward others in contrast to the Equality Wheel which explains nonviolent, nurturing behaviors within relationships. The Cycle of Abuse diagram identifies six repetitive behaviors that entrap and confuse victims of violence.
